Sponsorship
The popularity of long distance races in Oregon is tremendous and there are many runners who like this distance as training for a full marathon. A recent half marathon held in Corvallis drew close to 1,800 runners, of which 70% were women, the largest growing population for this type of race.
More than 100 volunteers will be needed for race day. Volunteers are needed for course set up, packet pickup/shirt distribution, hanging banners and signs, greeters, handing out medals, collecting shoe chips, clean up crew, etc. A BBQ lunch will be provided for all volunteers beginning at Noon.

From Highway 20 going toward Sweet Home (just past WalMart), turn left on Weirich Drive and follow signs into Cheadle Lake Park and parking.
